Animation

Course Description:

Animation course intruduces studens to animation through theory and hands-on training in art fundamentals, drawing, cartooning, and animation basics. It also includes an introduction to computer graphics imaging. Students will study art theory, composition, color, spatial concepts, rendering and animation, using creativity and imagination to convey ideas and tell a story. Integrated throughout Animation are career techinical education standards which include basic academic skills, communication, career planning, technology, problem solving, safety, responsibility, ethics, teamwork, and technical knowledge. Activities in this course include work-based learning that connects students to industry and the local community.
