Graphic Design

Course Description: 

This course introduces students to the art of graphic design. Students learn about the history and development of this art form, explore cultural influences and examine its role in societies from different parts of the world. Study of the aesthetics of art and graphic design will allow students to develop perception and analysis skills that they can employ to critically examine their own work and the work of others. Students will demonstrate their knowledge of the elements of art and principls of design while developing and refining their creative skills utilizing a variety of media including digital.
